Delivery

We provide curbside delivery to your home.  It is your responsibility to move the material from the curb to your house.  The carrier's driver and/or helper is not allowed to enter your home at any time or assist you in moving the material once it is dropped at the curb.  Your presence and signature are required at the time of delivery. 

Once your order leaves our warehouse, your actual delivery time and date will be determined when the carrier calls you to make a delivery appointment. Tracking information will be provided to you after your order leaves our warehouse.

Additional charges will apply if you re-route your shipment to a different address than specified on your order. Please call for a re-routing rate before making any delivery.

If the carrier if unable to reach you to schedule a delivery time and date, or you are not present at the time of delivery (which is required), additional shipping and storage fees will be applied to your order. 

At The Time of Receiving Your Shipment:

  1. Be sure that you inspect the outside of the cartons for any signs of damage. 
  2. Count the cartons to make sure the count matches with the Packing Slip attached to the pallet with your order.
  3. Make a note on the delivery slip (Bill of Lading) of any damaged or missing cartons; and if possible, take pictures of the damage.  If you do not mark shipping damage on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery, we loose our ability to file a claim with the delivery company on your behalf.  Please call or email us to arrange for the replacement of the damaged part of your order.  
  4. Sign the delivery slip (Bill of Lading) and confirm receipt of your products, regardless of whether it is damaged or not.

Verifying & Tracking Your Order

Each customer is responsible for the accuracy and quantity of his/her own individual order.  After placing an order, you will be sent an email confirmation. This confirmation is your receipt of items purchased. It is your responsibility to verify the order for accuracy and contact us with any discrepancies or changes within 3 hours of placing the order. After this time, the order will be in processing mode and you will not be guaranteed the ability to change the order. 

The tracking number for your order and carrier information are provided via email after the shipment leaves our warehouse.  All communication related to the delivery status and its scheduling is facilitated with the transportation company.  


Sales Tax

If you're ordering online, sales tax may apply to your shipping. TheseFloors collects sales tax for all orders shipped to Illinois. Additional taxes may apply depending on your local tax codes and laws, but are not collected by our company. Please check with your local state tax board concerning reporting taxable internet purchases. If you are a contractor or retailer with a valid Illinois resale license, please contact our sales department for details on utilizing your resale permit to waive the sales tax. Regarding shipments within the state of Illinois, the tax rates are based upon your county's current tax rate. Items sent to APO/FPO military addresses and states other than Illinois are not subject to sales taxes. State and local sales tax rates are subject to change at any time.
